CHAZ MASON
WHO IS CHAZ MASON?
Chaz Mason is a genre-blurring artist whose music fuses the raw emotion of soul with the anthemic power of 80s rock. Think Journey meets Brandy, with a splash of Stevie Wonder and Bryan Adams — all filtered through a voice that’s unmistakably his own.
A multi-instrumentalist, writer, producer, and mixer, Chaz does it all — from crafting every lyric and melody to laying down the tracks in his home studio. His upcoming album Unstoppable (2026) is a bold step into an edgier, guitar-driven sound, kicking off with the lead single My Own Worst Enemy this fall. Packed with “sunroof-down, desert highway” energy, it’s a nostalgic yet fresh ride through heartbreak, self-discovery, and resilience.
Chaz has lent his powerhouse vocals to some of the biggest names in the industry, touring with Kanye West’s Sunday Service Choir and contributing to albums by Mariah Carey, John Legend, Leonard Cohen, and Keifer Sutherland. He’s performed on Glee, worked alongside legendary producer Patrick Leonard, and — in a full-circle moment — once brought Brandy, his biggest inspiration, to tears with a live performance.
Raised in a musical family (his mother is gospel icon Babbie Mason), Chaz has toured globally from Paris to Johannesburg, Moscow to London, and nearly every major U.S. city. His performances are dynamic, heartfelt, and impossible to box into a single genre — a reflection of his belief that the best music is the kind that transcends boundaries.
